Recently I discovered for the first time * that red is an amazing colour - a hue many times more exciting and appealing than blue, which I had persuaded myself 50 or more years ago, for reasons I can no longer recall, was My Favourite Colour.

Yesterday I made a further discovery:
Orange juice is the finest drink there is.
Better even than water (which is saying a great deal).
Better even than the riesling I have just discovered which I am very keen to tell you about before the last of it disappears from supermarket shelves. (More details shortly; I keep forgetting the name. *)
I just thought you ought to know this.
* It's the Millton Opou Vineyard Gisborne Riesling 2006. I bought some more bottles today. Try it. You'll be amazed.
